At Southwest Blinds & Shutters, we understand that when you invest in custom window treatments, you’ll want to have peace of mind that your investment will be protected. That’s why we offer the following warranties on our products:
Worry-Free Guarantee for Shutters
This warranty is specifically for our shutters. While the original warranty is provided by the manufacturer, we also agree to provide free, lifetime warranty service to the original purchaser of our shutters. This warranty includes trips to the customer’s home for repairs, pick up, reinstallation, and labor, as well as parts provided by the manufacturer’s standard shutter warranty.
What is Not Covered by the Worry-Free Guarantee
This warranty does not extend or replace the product warranty which is provided by the manufacturer. If the claim is not covered by the product warranty, it will not be covered by this warranty. This warranty is not transferrable and does not cover Costco orders, rental properties, vacation rentals, commercial properties, or multi-family housing. MDF and Local Wood Shutters are not covered under this warranty.
5 Year Guarantee
This warranty covers our blinds, shades, and drapery. While the product warranty is provided by the manufacturer, we agree to provide 5 years of free, in-home warranty service to the original purchaser of these products. This warranty covers trips to and from the customer’s home for repairs, pick up, reinstallation, labor, and parts provided by the manufacturer and covered under the manufacturer’s standard product warranty. We will also provide 1 year of in-home warranty service to the original purchaser of motorized products and exterior shades.
What’s Not Covered in Our 5 Year Guarantee
This warranty is not transferable and in no way takes the place or extends the product warranty provided by the manufacturer. This warranty does not include products that were damaged by misuse, abuse, accidents, or acts of God. This warranty does not cover Costco orders, rental properties, vacation rentals, commercial properties, or multi-family housing. Battery replacement for motorized products is not covered.
